The new Extended Care Pressure Reduction Mattress incorporates a unique, anatomically designed top layer that provides low pressure with a bottom layer that offers unmatched support and long term clinical efficacy.
The Inner Foam Core:
The Top Layer is medium density foam, contour cut in seven zones along the full length of the mattress.
The Bottom Support Layer consists of high-density foam, 35" wide and 3" thick. Articulation channels are provided to facilitate gatching of the bed.
All the components of the inner foam core meet or exceed the specifications in California Upholstery Provisions as stated in Technical Bulletin #117.
The Top Cover: Hypolex Top Cover offers very low moisture vapor transmission rates and is anti-microbial. The top cover can be cleaned with standard cleaning procedures, using properly diluted solutions.
The Bottom Cover:
The Bottom Cover is a durable, grap ripstop vinyl that is both waterproof and ant-bacterial. It contains air vents to allow air transfer enabling patients to descend into the therapeutic layers of the mattress.
